Melody
Her name is Melody but you can call her Mel. She is the undisputed face of LPF and our master of all things custom picture framing and art. A Jonestown native and graduate of Lebanon Valley College, Melody is a self-taught custom framer who has designed and assembled framing projects for Good Samaritan Hospital, Reading Public Museum, Cast Stone Institute, Susan H. Arnold Art Gallery at Lebanon Valley College, Fresh Creative, Butler Manufacturing Company (now known as BlueScope Steel Limited), Lebanon County Historical Society, Red Couch Interiors, A Golden Eye Design Company and many other local businesses, museums, galleries and private homes. An accomplished artist over multiple mediums in her own right, she has over 20 years of experience in the framing industry, a passion for aesthetics and impeccable color vision all of which she utilizes in every framing project she tackles. Recognized as the Community of Lebanon Association Merritt Marks Memorial Business Person of the Year for 2020 in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, she has dozens of loyal clients and artists who swear by her for their framing needs. You will too once you have experienced her mastery of the art of framing. If you own it, Melody can frame it!
Eric
If Melody is the Master, Eric is her Grasshopper! An Annville native, Navy veteran and graduate of Penn State University, Eric spent 20 years as a paralegal for an international law firm in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He decided to abandon his corporate career to join Melody in her pursuit of beautifying the world around you. Eric serves as managing partner, taking care of the boring, unglamorous business end of LPF, ensuring that the lights stay on, the doors remain open and supplies keep flowing so Melody can concentrate on the creative aspect of the business of providing clients with the best framing projects you will ever see. He also provides support to Melody as an apprentice framer and maintains the website, social media presence and marketing aspects of LPF. If you own it, Eric will ensure that Melody has everything she needs to frame it!
John
What does a custom framer do once he retires from owning his own custom frame shop? Why, he frames, of course! An accomplished graphic artist and former custom framer for LPF in its early years, John has worked in the custom framing industry since 1979. After 15 years of owning his own frame shop, John retired from the day-to-day rigors of shop ownership. Rather than fade off into the sunset, he now works as framer “emeritus” for LPF. He does prep work for your project including cutting mats, joining frames and consulting with Melody. He is LPF’s behind the scenes framer who, when teamed with Melody, gives your project over 60 years of custom framing experience, knowledge and ability. John is invaluable in freeing Melody to do what she does best, shepherding your project from concept to design to assemblage. He prefers to remain in the background of LPF. You probably will never see him during your framing experience with LPF but, believe us, he exists. He has touched your project with his passion and enthusiasm for framing. We are lucky to have him and so are you. If you own it, John will ensure that everything is prepared and ready for Melody to frame it!
